The Belt & Road International Food Expo (BRIFE) takes Hong Kong’s superiorities as an international “Super-Connector” in finance, trade, logistics and professional services, provides a solid B2B & G2B trade platform of agri-food business and industries among and beyond the Belt & Road.
With the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Hong Kong Section of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Rail came into service, enhances the connection and synergies of economy, logistics and culture within the area. BRIFE 2019 will come with larger scale, more diversified supporting activities, to create more business opportunities for participants.
Chef Martin Yan is consented to be the Culinary and Cultural Ambassador of BRIFE & 2018 Belt & Road Hot Chef Challenge.
THEMED FEATURES IN BRIFE 2019
The three-day exhibition comprises a series of programs in conjunction with the Belt and Road, to further promote food trade in the countries among and beyond the route. The diversified International event includes: Belt & Road Agrifood & Trade Summit, industry competition, awards, featured seminars, networking events, etc.

In 2018, over 300 booths from the exhibitors from 38 countries and districts, amongst that 70% of countries and districts are along the Belt and Road area.
« Georgia Pavilion was leading by H.R.H Juan Bagration-Mu khrani, Prince of Georgia and Mr. Koba Nadareishvili, Chief Chairman of Georgian Cultural Asia Association, with organized 8 booths coexhibited by 16 domestic companies. Promoted over 100 local specialty products including: wine, natural juice, chocolate, candy, dairy products, olive oil, french fries, mineral water and other national cuisines, agricultural products as well as professional services. » see more photos
In the ATS, the agriculture and trade ministers from the countries along B&R will be invited as guest speakers, to discuss and exchange views regarding to the demand in investment and development in agriculture and food industry, the opportunity and challenge of cooperation brought by business collaboration under the Initiative. Expecting over 1,000 senior government officials, ambassadors, consulates, potential investors, food industry leaders, bankers, top-managements of private institutions will attend to build partnership and to seize the opportunities under the BRI. » read more
